The NOTSHY linen jacket, chic and relaxed

At NOTSHY Cashmere, we design the linen jacket as a statement piece, blending ease, elegance and comfort. Each lightweight jacket is made from carefully selected linen with meticulous finishing: clean lapels, refined pockets, natural-material buttons.

Our styles are offered in a range of soft, natural colours such as ecru, beige and grey, to complement a sophisticated wardrobe perfectly. The NOTSHY linen blazer stands out for its structured yet lightweight cut: it sits effortlessly over a fine top and pairs equally well with jeans or tailored trousers. The effect is immediate: elegance and comfort merge to create a polished style, perfect for mild days or cooler evenings.

How to wear a linen jacket?

The linen jacket has its place in a wardrobe where quality comes first. It is ideally worn over a simple base: a cashmere tank top or lightweight cashmere top, in silk or in cotton, in light or neutral tones that let its natural texture shine. The soft colours of the jacket pair particularly well with tones such as ivory, ecru, taupe or pastel touches, as well as very subtle shades of blue or green.

Layered, it pairs with a fine knit jumper or a cardigan to face the transitional season or a more changeable climate, whilst maintaining a chic look. Depending on the occasion, the lightweight linen jacket can be a statement piece in a tailored suit for the office, or work in a more relaxed look with straight-leg jeans and loafers or smart trainers.

How to wash and dry a linen jacket?

Caring for your linen jacket is essential to preserve its quality, shape and natural beauty. For washing, it is recommended to use a gentle machine cycle with water at a moderate temperature (around 30–40 °C for coloured pieces, slightly higher for whites but without excess), or hand washing. Avoid detergents containing bleaching agents, separate colours, and turn the jacket inside out to prevent wear from friction against the drum or other garments.

As for drying, it is preferable to hang the piece or lay it flat to dry in the open air, away from direct sunlight to preserve the colour and the fibre. Tumble drying should be avoided as it risks stiffening the fabric, causing it to shrink, or compromising its noble texture. As for ironing, if the linen has creases, iron it while the fabric is still slightly damp, on the reverse side, with an iron at a medium temperature, so as to respect the natural appearance without adding a sheen to the material.

With these simple precautions, a NOTSHY linen jacket stays beautiful for a long time, becoming even softer with each wash while retaining its elegance.
