RECYCLE YOUR CASHMERE
Since 2021, NOTSHY has been committed to more circular fashion.
The “Recycle Your Cashmere” initiative, available in all NOTSHY stores, offers you a €50 voucher for every 100% cashmere jumper dropped off!
For this initiative, NOTSHY has designed a semi-transparent box with a lid made from materials sourced entirely from post-industrial or post-consumer plastic waste. It is in this transparent collection box that garments will accumulate throughout the initiative, giving cashmere a second life in just a few months!
How does it work?

Drop off your 100% cashmere pieces (excluding accessories), whether they are damaged, worn or defective, in the designated collection points in stores*.
In exchange, receive a €50 voucher** valid on a 100% cashmere NOTSHY jumper.

NOTSHY collects and recycles all pieces dropped off in stores to give cashmere a second life through creative and artistic initiatives.
(03)
It is thanks to the collaboration between NOTSHY and organisations, associations, schools and artists that cashmere is transformed into a new kind of creation (artworks, furniture, objects...).
*The initiative runs from 1 October to 31 December in all the brand’s stores in France.

Since 2021, we have given a new lease of life to 3,459 kg of 100% cashmere material, either resold or sent for recycling.
For this initiative, we have chosen to work with committed partners based in France or nearby to minimise the transport of materials. They include Progetto Lana, a specialist Italian recycler, and Cashmere Collective Lab, a social enterprise that sorts and cleans the garments before sending them to Filature du Parc, a French recycler and spinner.
( 2023 )on the occasion of the fuorisalone — the unmissable event for furniture and design, notshy entrusted pluridisciplinary artist natascha bianca with the creation of an original upcycling artwork.
Starting from recycled cashmere garments, the artist envisioned a radical transformation: deconstructing the material in order to reinvent it, taking it from the wardrobe into the world of interior furnishings. She sorts, cuts, sews and knits the material to create an XXL knit, then metamorphosed into a pouf — a unique, sculptural piece full of meaning.
Presented at the Guffanti showroom, the installation "NOTSHY makes cashmere live forever" brought together visitors, friends of the brand and partners during Milan Design Week 2023. An exhibition that allowed NOTSHY to reaffirm, on the international stage, its vision of a more responsible fashion, where creativity becomes a driver of circularity.
