NOTSHY makes cashmere live forever
In the Fuorisalone of Milan Design Week, a major event in the world of design and fashion NOTSHY shared its commitment to sustainable development.
Cashmere is part of the brand's history and DNA, a true gift of nature that comes from the silky undercoat of goats living in a harsh climate. This wool is harvested by remote populations living in the mountains of Inner Mongolia.
To face the ecological challenge, NOTSHY collects since 2021 through the initiative "Recycle your cashmere" used sweaters from all fashion brands in order to raise consumer awareness and move towards a more circular economy.
For the occasion, multidisciplinary artist Natascha Bianca has created an original work to celebrate this commitment and bring out the quality and emotion of cashmere.

Who is Natascha Bianca ?
Natascha Bianca is a multidisciplinary artist known for her styling work in film, theater and opera.
The artist Natascha Bianca has reclaimed the recycled material in order to give it a new meaning, a new life in a conscious approach focused on quality and the valorization of know-how, values dear to NOTSHY. In the spirit of upcycling an installation and chairs were created with sweaters recovered during the collection to sublimate the material.
The installation "NOTSHY makes cashmere live forever", exhibited at the Guffanti Showroom, brought together visitors to the show, friends of the brand and partners. NOTSHY reinforces its commitment to a more responsible fashion on the international scene. It can be seen at our Italian partner until June 2023.

The recycled cashmere clothes are upcycled to become interior furniture.
This installation was supported by a conference on sustainability in partnership with MUST HAD, a vernissage and two live performances by the artist, on April 17, 18 and 19.
