Cashmere is a natural fibre that requires special care. A standard detergent, often too harsh or enriched with powerful surfactants, can dull the fibre, dry it out or accelerate the appearance of pilling. Our artisan detergent, based on Marseille soap, has been formulated to cleanse gently without ever altering the natural softness of cashmere.

Our cashmere detergent is crafted in Provence, following a traditional Marseille soap-making method based on copra oil and olive oil. Presented in a 500 ml bottle, it provides up to 15 washes, for regular care of your NOTSHY pieces throughout the season.
How do you use the artisan cashmere detergent?
For hand washing, fill a basin or suitable sink with cold water, dilute a small amount of detergent, then immerse your cashmere garment without leaving it to soak. Gently press the fibre with your fingertips or pat it, never wringing or pulling it, then rinse with clean water. For machine washing, choose a short wool or delicate programme, cold or low temperature (20°C maximum), with a low spin speed, and place your garment in a laundry bag to protect it.
In both cases, separate colours carefully before washing and avoid any contact with fabric softener, which damages the natural cashmere fibre. Dry flat on an absorbent towel, never in a tumble dryer, and away from any direct heat source. If needed, a light press with a cool iron can complete the care.
